Kia ora from our Next Gen Team 

In the Salvation Army, the term Next Gen includes Children and Youth up to 25 years. 

Here at Hamilton City Salvation Army, we have 7 Pillars that we use and help to describe what we focus on in everything we do. These 7 Pillars are as follows: 

  • Next Gen will Have their Physical Needs Met 

  • Next Gen will Are Inclusive of Others and Outwards Focused 

  • Next Gen will Know they Belong 

  • Next Gen will Have Fun and Positive Social Interactions 

  • Next Gen Are Growing Followers of Jesus 

  • Next Gen will Have Opportunities to Serve Others 

  • Next Gen are Developing as Leaders of Today

Our Purpose:

  • To bring together young adults from Year 9 through to age 25 who have a common purpose in seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ,

  • To study the Word of God for application to everyday living,

  • To come together in faith, fun, and fellowship,

  • To partner in sharing our faith to the world,

  • And to practice the gospel values of love, justice and peace by serving others in Jesus name.

Events:

We have various events and programs available to our youth and young adults:

94 London Street:
Friday & Saturdays Youth Group > 7-9pm
Sunday Life Group > 12:30-2pm

99 London Street:
SURGE - Every 3rd Friday of the month during term time > 5:30-6:30pm> 99 London Street

Surge is a group for intermediate ages - years 7-9 - and focuses on building relationships through games and fun while learning about Jesus. Come on down and join us!
